Hi there.
I'm curious does anyone know of a text-bassed stopwatch software that will work with JAWS? I'm starting a job in about a week in which I need a stopwatch for timeing purposes. I do have my PAC Mate and can bring that for the stopwatch feature, but I'd like to avoid bringing both the laptop and PAC Mate to the job setting if possible. I've taken a look on the net. I did find one via PHP but wouldn't even know how to put that in a file and make it run under windows. Its just a bunch of code when I clicked on the link. Takeing a look at the code it looks like it might be a stopwatch with a start and stop butten but I have no idea. Just figgure things bassed on reading the code. There is a JAWS script that can work as a countdown timer for ten minutes intervolse, but tha'ts not what I need. The rest of the stuff I've seen you have to pay for and I have no idea how well any of this stuff would work. Before I start buying things and seeing what works and what doesn't, I thought I'd check h here first to see if anyone has delt with this before.
Thank you,
John

I've wondered this before also, and for both symbian and windows mobile based cell phones. The only thing that might work is a program called file dir which is a file manager, and it allows you to have a count up timer of sorts.
get it from
www.empowermentzone.com/dirsetup.exe
If that url doesn't work then let me know.

Turns out I don't need it after all. But a stopwatch would be cool, not a countup or countdown timer. Thanks for the info though.
